The teachers are asked to look at three qualities:

a) insight into the yogic process

b) personal story, brief

c) heartfelt joy, exuberance, sincerity, love, gratitude

Suggestions:
a) how often you practice and how long you have come to Eyes of the World.
b) why you love yoga at Eyes of the World, why is yoga different here, what makes it special.
c) Do not goo, gaa, fawn, suck up and blather on about one teacher. This might actually lose points. All the teachers are going to be reading these letters. We previously ran this contest in 2005. The winning letter in the 2005 contest had no reference to any specific teacher at Eyes of the World.

6. Winners will be announced online on Thursday July 1, 2010. All letters become the property of Eyes of the World Assoc. Inc and may be used for promotional purposes in print and on the web. We are looking for inspirational quotes and insight. We are looking for the jewels. We would never use any quote that would be unflattering to you. This contest is primarily designed to give our landlords and neighbors an understanding of what yoga is all about. They might not really understand what yoga is. The American media often shallowly characterizes yoga as being about "stretching." We would like you to tell them the real story.
